Re: Film Buffs' Corner
Looks like a good film.
"A scientist experimenting with matter transmission from place to place by means of a laser beam suddenly decides to utilise himself as a test specimen. But the process goes awry, and one side of his body becomes hideously deformed and instantly lethal to anyone it touches. Written by Kevin McCorry"
How can I see this excellent film?

If you must, here's a trailer (WARNING - SUSPENSE AND SHOCK):
.
I've actually watched about half of the actual film, and it is truly awful. But somehow highly amusing...

But that's the 1966 version. What are you trying to pull?
The 1967 version will be much better than that.

Re: Film Buffs' Corner
It was released in the summer of 1966 and was given an X-certificate by the film censors.
The newspaper review is incorrect as regards the year. Just as well - we really don't want two of these.

Well, I blame the World Cup.
This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened.
It happens every time we win the World Cup.

Re: Film Buffs' Corner
I particularly note that the title of this thread is Film Buff's Corner. This is very apt, as "Film Buffs" should be kept in a corner where they cannot bore other people to death with their ramblings about the minutiæ of some long-forgo*ten poofter film.

I did not know it was a poofter film.
And to think - I nearly watched it.
