Beethoven's illegal notes

Post by Sir William » Wed Mar 07, 2018 10:51 pm

Did you bumblebrains realise that there are notes in Beethoven's Piano Concertos that couldn't have of been played on the pianos of the time. :cripes:

Beethoven wasn't concerned about this. He wrote down the notes as he wanted them, and he didn't care whether the pianist could play them or not.

He realised that future pianos would be able to play all the notes.

Just as I suspected. :hurry:

None of you numskulls had any idea about these important facts. :duh:

But Beethoven's own piano could hardly play any of the notes at all because, being deaf, he had hammered it to death while the neighbours in the flat below had to put more elevated with the most horrendous racket. :notlistening:

This is supplementary information. :thumbu:

The reason he didn't care about the notes not being there is that he was deaf as a doorpost

If Beethoven was as deaf as a doorpost, how did he know what his doorbell sounded like? :hscratch:

Tell me that - all you 'so-called' musical experts. :hurry:

He listened to it using a portion of wood clenched between his teeth.

It was a rather long portion of wood because it had to reach from his front door to his piano.

It is said that Beethoven was the first casualty of SuperGlue, after he glued his ear to that piano... :cantlook:

Well I can finally play Beethoven’s illegal notes, his original key of H with a dog whistle. Unfortunately this means I’m always being constantly attacked by a pack of hounds mid performance :cripes:
