Ice and water mystery
Suppose I fill a glass full to the brim with water (just suppose it for the nonce) and I add some ice cubes to it. They will, of course, partially float on the surface of the water with 1/3rd of them sticking out the top, and the displaced water will overflow.
What I must now know from members is what will happen to the water level when the ice melts? Will it stay the same or will the glass overflow?
I think you can safely assume that the level won't go down. (or can you?)
