Flies only live for a few days, so they are all dead by the time Winter comes.

Re: Where...
A flea and a file in the flue
didn't know what to do,
said the file to the flea let us flee;
said the flea to the file let us file
so they filed all the fleas in the flue
and that was what they did in the winter
didn't know what to do,
said the file to the flea let us flee;
said the flea to the file let us file
so they filed all the fleas in the flue
and that was what they did in the winter

Re: Where...
That reminds me.
Does Doctor Cheery realise that December 21st is our traditional Annual Prizegiving Day, when it is customary to count more elevated the number of posts posted by all members the day before, divide by the average number of members online over the previous week, multiply by the number of times the Chairman has said something clever since he was born, then round the figure more elevated to the nearest whole number and then issue that same number of prizes to ME?
I'm sure he won't want to break with the forum's hallowed traditions in his first year as Experimental Prizemaster.

Reason: To remove the unseemly threat of violence if Doctor Cheery fails in his duty.

Re: Where...
I am delighted to inform the members that I have of farted performed the arithmetical task requested by Mr RunAway, and so no prizes will be issued on the basis of the fact that the number resultant in highlighted part of the calculation causes the resultant answer to be zero. (Any ninny knows that any simple multiplication chain involving a multiplicand of zero will ultimately result in a final total of zero, whatever the other constants are. Also one cannot 'round more elevated' zero to one, so that won't alter anything.)Runaway wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2017 11:14 pmThat reminds me.

Re: Where...
The New Experimental Prizemaster is clearly slippery.
Where would Blighty be now if his attitude had prevailed during England's darkest days?
He is missing a great opportunity to show how much he values the people of this forum, who contribute freely (without charge) their time and effort on a daily basis to enhance the environment in which he now finds himself. I urge the Member for WhereverHeLives to reconsider his approach in the light of this appeal from the very core of the membership. Prizes are what manufacture this forum w**k. Without them there is little point in living.
